If you are a long time Zelda fan, chances are you've been waiting for this game as long as I have. And what a treat for us it is.
A prequel to the entire series, with wonderful little touches splashed throughout that will really give fans a lot to enjoy as they play through the game. Newcomers to the Zelda franchise will also love this game too, with added RPG like elements (collecting times to upgrade all your weapons and armour) and a diverse range of characters. The graphics are gorgeous, very reminiscent of a watercolour in places, and you will never tire of leaping from a high place and calling upon your bird to catch you as you fall.
The included Wiimote with Motion Plus could have been tacky, what with Zelda's love of painting things gold, but the Wiimote is lovely. Very nicely done, not too glaringly golden and with some lovely images of the Triforce with Wings on it. Never having used a motionplus before, it took a bit of getting used to, but once you see Link mirroring your every Mote-movement with his sword, you quickly become even more immersed in the story.
This game, or the game alone without Wiimote, is definitely something that people will enjoy. A definite stocking filler in my book.
