Only one word can describe this game: EPIC!
Skyrim is one long adventure with over 300+ hours of game play and once you start playing you can see why! So far after 40 hours I have not made a dent in the main story but I have been exploring and completing side quests, not to mention taking time out to marry on the game (trophy or gamerscore achievement).
The story so far is compelling and well written, you feel that you are part of this virtual world and soon you start to love/hate many of the characters in each city.
The entire map can be explored and you are required to explore, if you see a distant mountain you are able to walk over to it and see it up close and explore.
The leveling system as changed from the older elder scrolls games but however the new system once you get used to it is a vast improvement, any one who as played WoW will see a talent tree mode when you level.
Character customization just like all the elder scrolls is vast but with built in presets if you don’t want to go through all the options to make the character you want.
With the new ability to duel wield either two weapons, two spells or a weapon and spell it adds a all new tactical element to each fight you encounter. There is nothing like using a flame spell and a mace to bring down an enemy!
The graphics are amazing for the level of detail the world as to offer, sound quality is good too, though lip sync when characters talk is not quite perfect, but who cares :D when the game is this good!
There are a few bugs in the game but that’s to be expected with something this big, however they are patching the game as we speak (or type) to remove them.
If you want value for money, a great RPG, a game with a gripping story or just a game to kill dragons this game is for you!
One last bit .................... BUY IT MY GOD BUY IT NOW!
